On 12-13-14, I surprised my husband with a Seasons of Love Flashmob during our wedding ceremony. He's seen Rent 13 times, and he LOVES this song. Every single person in the room was in on it. Except for Ben. :)

I think it's just how the song is written, y'know, with how the beat goes. It flows better in some spots without the "600 minutes" added on. It's still all together 525,600, but the flow and beat sound better in spots without the added "600 minutes" sang.
