I don't know why, but there's so, so, soooooooooooooo many people that do not take Sony seriously when talking about HT experiences, when they actually know EXACTLY how to make an incredible experience, they are the only ones who are present in every step of the way, from capturing the images and sound, to producing the movies and equipment. That being said, there's something... just special about their products. I love that they finally refresed the ES line. SO SO EXCITED.

At 3000 price range I think the software side of the AVR is pretty limited. I do own the STR-DN1080 (different class…. Far away form this new line) but I hate deeply the software part. It’s uncustomable! I also don’t like the lack if DTS-X pro at that price point and I don’t like that they only support Spotify or Sonos… what about other higher quality streaming services. They sell those for 32bit DAC… get the certication for MQA and tidal masters or QBoz etc etc 3k man….

wow sony finnaly is making a premiun es series reciever like their projectors do they have super high end speakers i know the do headphones darn i wish it was all sony like super high end four way sony surround speakers with 4 big sony subs they got a dope processer and amps projects i love that sony finally released a new super high end proessor and amps

LFE output is the same regardless of the number of devices. Each sub was individually tuned for levels and phase to match the room providing deep and uniform response for every seat

RCA-Y adapters or splitters. (Daisy-Chaining.) You can hookup as many subwoofers as you want because most subwoofers on the market havre their own amp so you just use the subwoofers amp. (Yes this is safe and dos not hurt the subwoofer or the AVR.) 6:12

in another video, prob not HTD, but its mentioned that the KEF with their UNI-Q tech providing such a wide dispersion, they can get away with being higher to accommodate larger areas.

This is legit awesome. I love some bass, as it is quite omnidirectional, wondering why fewer, and larger subs could not be used? Think the difference is that noticeable? No way I would trust anyone to turn on, or even run my theater without me. That being said, what a great AirBNB.

It is looking great, but man... the speaker placement is really wrong. the elevations can't work this way. who did this and what was his thinking? And the next thing... why in the world did the guy who planed this... not use a double bass array in such a big room? you had all the space for it😮

@@ThatHomeTheaterDude hang the surrounds way lower. way to much above ear level. bring the screen way lower... so the fronts can come lower, too. more seperation between backs and rear tops... just a few examples. the projector is not a good choice for that screen and room....also the speaker. that is no hate... just facts. such a great room but completely messed with everything possible sadly
