This may appear strange BUT seeing you guys having a glass of wine, BBQing a little meat, is so currently refreshing. just memories of my PVC VAN TRIPS ( which included beautiful memories of BbQ’d sardines & salad ) and day time Vinho Verde...it must be an Irish / Portuguese thing 🤣

Miss not seeing you in Grenada but really love this video. Those pools in the mountains are beautiful! Hope you're both keeping safe and wishing you both a Merry Christmas!! Sincerely, Amanda from FedEx Grenada.

That was awesome! That was a good mental escape for me from Covidland Florida. What a great way to travel around right now. Did you ever try to camp anywhere and then get told to move or you weren't allowed?

Glad to hear! We actually had no problem wild camping here and one time locals even welcomed us to the area and said they were happy we were utilizing the space for camping. But I’ve heard Portugal is more strict in the south around the Algarve. Sometimes they kick campervans out.

Loved your Portugal RV trip video. I’ve been wanted to visit Portugal but using an RV rather than a Airbnb is a great idea. You can see more places and stay more Covid safe I think 🤔 Beautiful photography and awesome drown shots. How was the weather for the time of year you visited? Did you use your USA visa credit card everywhere? Thanks 😊

Thanks for watching and commenting! We were travelling by van in June and it was warm at that point, sunny and some clouds and we didn’t need any heater at night in the van. In the evenings outside we wore our jackets though (we were in the north and central). We’re Canadian actually and yes we use our credit card 👍

Thanks for this video. My husband and I are planning to do it this July while our son is in summer camp. We love it. Can I ask a question? You mentioned your grey water, is that for your sink or do you also have a shower in that model camper? I like to have both a toilet and a shower so I was looking at the model you're driving and my concern has always been maneuvering it in certain places in Europe because of the narrow streets but also being big enough for these two of my necessities. Any advice?
@Goatsontheroad8 ай бұрын
Hey! I'd definitely say you wouldn't want bigger than this one. It was tough on smaller roads. Better to keep it in the country rather than cities and old towns. Grey water is the disposed water from the sink and shower. I believe there was a shower on this one and a toilet, but you'd have to ask as I'm sure the models have changed a bit.

How are you very nice viedo I am planning visit Portugal by the how much camper cost for ten days thanks
@Goatsontheroad4 жыл бұрын
The cost of the campervan depends on which model you go for and the season. The cost of our van starts at around €65 per day but includes insurance with roadside assistance and everything you need inside.

The one on the road? Yeah he was huge. There was also a cow sized goat.

I like your videos but they are too short, you can't even show many places. Besides I loved the van. Hopefully you can extend the videos a little more.

Visas, is it only 3 or 6 months in europe, how do you deal with that? Since you travel all the time you are carrying all your stuff on your back for all seasons and conditions? That's a lot of stuff. You must have a massive carbon footprint with all your travel, kind of makes me sad. I'm so scared of how our climate is warming and wish everyone would slow down and use less carbon, but traveling sucks you in. Sorry planet, your doomed.
