If you’re curious some of the guns in the Cold War mod aren’t base/dlc guns but modified variants of certain guns the hk21 is the c58 and the Galatz is the galil with an in game .308 conversion though I don’t recall Cold War having the correct Galatz side mounted scope shown in this video

I'm pretty sure the reason the DSR, Hamr, MTAR etc were nerfed in zombies was because of the nerf they received in MP which for some reason the stat changes carried over to zombies. Tbf the MW19 AN-94 is an actual AN-94

fal osw was incredibly good in b02 it was ga’d out of competitive pretty much immediately and they banned the select fire attachment as well as nerfed it after launch but you could go in a multiplayer lobby and still shred with it today it was definitely one of the most op guns but everything in b02 was pretty much viable to use so most people forget how broken it was

The whole nerfing things in a PVE mode makes sense. You could make that argument about games like Destiny. You need to nerf guns that are too OP in PVE modes to keep the meta fresh. Perfect example is the Salvo in bo4. You do not do anything in bo4 without that gun. It keeps this fresh while also stopping Power Creep with future DLC weapons. If the guns that got nerfed didnt. You would never use anything else and it would get stale super fast.

I think the difference between destiny and zombies for me is that past round 40 in traditional zombies, the guns become basically unusable and end up mainly relying on wonder weapons anyways, so guns like the HAMR getting a recoil nerf just seems like an inconvenience to the player rather than a way to keep the meta fresh.
