Hello po, Sir Louis! Bakit po naging 0.48*** yung B ng path a dito sa Mediation Part 2, pero 5.48*** po sya sa Mediation Part 1 na video? Saka po yung indirect effect, which is path a x path b po ay 0.48 x 0.08 po ba? Ang lumalabas po kasi 0.0384, pero ang nakalagay po sa video ay 0.47? San po yun galing sir? Thank you po!

Ahh nagets ko na po Sir Louis bale 5.4804 x 0.0849 po pala kaya naging 0.47. Pero bakit po naging 5.4804*** yung estimate ng path a? Akala ko po less than 1 lang? Yung dito rin po na nakalagay na B sa path a ay 0.48? Sir, sorry po pero lost po ako. Pasensya na po sa mga questions, ngayon ko lang po kasi pinag-aaralan itong mediation analysis para sa research namin. Salamat po!

Kapag no mediation po, masasabi natin na hindi ine-explain ni Mediator ang relationship ni IV and DV. Kumbaga wala siyang role sa relationship. Si IV po talaga yung predictor ni DV at hindi si proposed mediator.

Thank you so much sir for this very helpful video. May question lang po sana Sir, is it okay to run mediation analysis using the overall data obtained? Even the variables (IV, DV, M) have sub-variables/parameters? Will use the total data, and not per sub-variables?

You can run a mediation with all items involved using structural equation modelling. One weakness of using process (the one I covered in this video) is that it only involves the totals/means. 🙂

Hi Christian! Correct me if I am wrong but I believe we have met before in Letran. This type of result suggests that if the IV is high, then the mediator and the DV are both low. Conversely, having low score in the IV would mean that the mediator and the DV are both high.
