I got this phone for the early bird price, it's worth it for me and it's my first poco phone too. And i enjoyed it even though the battery could be better but it's a trade-off for the good display and powerful chipset not to mention the charging bonkers fast and I casual gaming so I'm actually fine with it. Tbf there's no such thing as a perfect phone. I actually love the minimalist design, and i can slap a phone cooler at the back without too much obstructions. Good honest review. (Update: the battery is 2x better now thanks to some minor battery saving tweaks, restricting all apps from running in background, and some debloating)

Poco f6 is such a small improvement that i would consider the F5 a better option even now for both the 3.5 jack and lower resolution. The normal 1080p phone resolution is enough for my eyes, makes games run better and doesnt drain as much battery.

Don't buy POCO F6 5G, I am regretting it after buying it on the first day of sale. After 1 week of normal usage my phone started having a screen flickering problem, I only noticed it 3-4 times so I ignored it. But after 1 month my display is dead. The service center employees were very rude and informed that there are no displays available for replacement in Mumbai. At the service center I met 2 more customers with the same F6 display dead problem. POCO F6 has a serious display issue.

Useful suggestion. Better if you're using POCO specially the F Series, stick to default settings. My Poco F3 died after 2.5 years of gaming and it turn out that mother burnout. Well im playing Genshin with 60FPS, with fan cooler with 19c average, its kinda shame that it didn't last long. Hmm a lot of confusion down here lol, but battery life does in fact feels exactly like my Poco F3. It's just... Mediocre. But i still can use the Limited 80% charge comfortably. When i need a charge, just charge for 15 mins and 20-80% is achieved easy (in AC room). Also i still have an issue for my phone that somehow when connected to Wifi 5, the phone feels a bit hotter to touch than usual, getting average 39°C surface temperature (just downloading stuff using Wifi 5), connecting to Wifi 4 is fine now, its not heating up as before HyperOS update. Same goes with using hotspot, before the update, my phone heats but now it is very chill (36°C surface) and uses very small battery (6%/hour) tethering.

I upgraded from f5 to f6. I do feel the f6's battery drains faster than f5, especially in gaming and everything else is almost identical. If you already have a f5 skip this one and f5 does come with 2 year warranty anyway. But F6 is the best phone at this price range only lacking in camera department.

To be fair what he said was his perspective and opinion any thing that is againts on what you experience doesn't mean it is true it is different for every person. for me Poco F6 is a good phone, but if you really want efficiency for every buck go for the china version Redmi Turbo 3 same specs and way cheaper like 30% or more depending on your country, cons are theres no local warranty but if you are a risk taker like me just try and you wont be disappointed.

Got the F5 around 8 months ago. it's still super smooth and lag free. it gets hot but not too much that it's bothersome like others say, I'm not quite sure why the F5 stability benchmarks are always poor but it doesn't translate in real world usage. My friend got an F6 so we were able to compare, they are pretty much the same in speed and sometimes F5 was faster. so I'd probably upgrade when F7 comes out or F8 lol

In terms of gaming, probably none. So I suggest you prioritize what you like. If you're not a heavy gamer and you still want a good camera, Infinix GT20 Pro and Tecno Camon 30 Pro are likely better options. They are not a good in terms of gaming performance, but they still do well while having great cameras for the price tag. The Poco X6 and F6 series focused too much on performance for me. Tho, I like to play heavy games like Genshin, I also like taking a lot of photos. So I'll go for something more balanced tbh. Still your choice tho.

I mean HyperOS is great but also bad at same time, yeah im sure they improve a lot but the problem is the optimization is so bad and the battery for some reason doesnt hold longer for 6 hours atleast, even a samsung phone with exynos chip still got decent 7 hours onscreen, this is truly disappoint and that's why i changed to samsung, samsung might not bring more about performance but definitely give me more than 1 day usage.

Don't. I've used iphone 11 and the iphone 12 and Poco F5. I'd say Poco F5 has SOT of 7-8 hours compared to iphone 11 and 12 which lasts only 4-5 hours
