i was in paris just two weeks ago, and on my last night there i met a young man who radically changed my life in my opinion. We talked about our lives and he encouraged me to just gather my courage and take action in order to change what makes me unhappy in my life, and actually pursue what i feel i am made for deep down. We even went to a latino bar and danced and kissed and later, well dot dot dot lmao, but we knew it would only be one night. I felt something so bitter-sweet in the morning, like time unfreezed and i would have to get back to the life that makes me unhappy. Fortunately i will always keep this memory as a wake-up call, and this encounter made me realize how funny life can be, i mean what were the odds to meet him even.

Lost in Translation has moments like this too… the line that kills me is when Scarlett Johansen’s ( sp?) character say to Bill. Murray “ Let’s never come back here because it won’t be as fun….” It’s that moment you realize they will never see each other again. Heartbreaking and so bittersweet.

what a timely video. I just broke up with my girlfriend of 8 months 2 weeks ago. we had a “meet cute”. randomly struck up conversation at the gym, then saw her outside my apartment a few weeks later, found out she just lived the building down from me. from there it was a lot of other different little coincidences which gave me hope that I would never have to date again. ultimately, I realized that we weren’t compatible and had to end it. I’m not sure why I’m sharing other than to let others know, this stuff does happen. but you have to be willing to leap and fail a few times. thanks for the video and keep up the great work edit: this has happened another time to me before at the airport of all places, I know very cliche. this girl who I made long eye contact with as I walked past her came to my tram and started talking to me. found out we were on the same flight, and only other open seat was open and it was next to her. so we had my seat moved, kissed on the flight, went to her hotel room when we landed etc etc. well it turned out she was engaged. she wanted to break off the engagement and have me move to her state with her. of course I couldn’t do something so rash. life is strange

I had one of these in Huntsville, Alabama. I had just been on the worst first dates of my life (the girl talked my ear off for 30 minutes straight and we both agreed to leave), and so I grabbed my banjo and started bar-crawling. I played the cute bartender at the end of the street a song and explained my situation, and asked for a palette-cleanser of a date. We went bowling, I taught her how to dance in a Waffle House at midnight, and then we stayed up and talked for hours in my idling car. The next day, we went to a pool hall, art museum, and fed the ducks at a park. It was a very hard goodbye; I had to drive back across the country to get back to work, and it wouldn't have worked anyways. It sucks, but I know I learned some lessons from it that will make me a better husband for whoever my future wife is.

@MusiicRoolz5 күн бұрын
my two cents i haven't seen this film but from what I can tell this could either be a prospective long term relationship, or a moment in time. what i mean by a moment in time is that it might only work because they're able to drop their outside lives and step out of their respective bubbles to make their own spontaneous and impermanent one. you can have feelings for someone or even love and you not be compatible enough in how you live your lives. moments are beautiful and you can drop your usual self and walls, and your usual life. you're not tied to anything, you can be free - and by chance the other person is in the same "let things be" mindset. but a moment is just that - a moment. it's more about letting go than it is about romantic compatibility. in this film, we don't know enough about the intricacies of these people to know if this is significant in its romance, or if it's just a beautiful moment in time...
@MusiicRoolz5 күн бұрын
why I explain it like this is because people often tie a beautiful connection to things like permanence and attribute it to the other person being "special". while it's true to some extent about the person needing to be of enough compatibility, it doesn't necessarily mean anything grand if you connect with someone once. but people get attached to this one connection, without realising that it was them who created it.
