After a while, it gets really boring watching Cryomancer basically do the same thing over and over again. SonifFox makes it look easy though. I practiced doing those three down 1's before the back 1, 2 into command grab, but it's not as easy as it looks.

He casually played a lot of characters, still, he is maining top tier characters. Always. Period. It's not something shameful, but it is a fact. The fact that he killed people in pools with kitana or whatever doesn't mean anything. Tekken master forced sonic fox to switch to alien, that is very representative.

Kay Vi he mainly picks Erron or Cassie. Neither of which are top tier. Any top tier character he uses is generally just a counter pick against a tough opponent.

Both Erron and Cassie are very solid characters, they just don't win as much matchups as S-tier characters like alien. I'll say it again - if he didn't switch to alien which was objectively overpowered that time he would lose to Tekken Master. That's a fact.

13JacksonMr I don't a problem with command grab, the problem is it's also a restand. Usually they put the oponent down. They don't leave you in a restand position. At that point, blocking is pretty useless. You have to always be on the offensive.

this is a mistake.. at least they somehow have to make cryomancer slide hits mid not low like the Mileena roll for example .. Now his pressure is so ridiculous like he have 50/50s to start the combos and another 50/50s in the middle of the same combo .. you will be hit again and again trying to avoid the grab which lead to more damage .. I mean at least break his slide so we can jail him in corners he really looks so so OP against bad wake up attacks characters

I think Reo played good, it's just that now to get a normal combo with predator you need to use the stab then apply the meter for the combo. And using the meter to get the stab to then get the combo is not worth it. Predator sucks now.

Sub cool. What are good approach options with sub zero? Good setups, and for some reason when I combo and I try to follow up with the command grab, It doesn't actually grab my opponent.

You have to time the grab, be close to the opponent. And recently the c.grabs don't connect without meter burning it...only a few times. My advice for you is to find time to get your hands accustomed to the controls and especially the the run canceling.

Cryomancer sub zero looks like injustice batgirl from a uninformed distance. They happen to both have 50/50 and the ability to stand up the opponent after their combo. That's as far as my uninformed brain could compare.

He used pre patch Kitana when she was considered bottom tier and won ESL S1 and he also uses post patch Erron Black and all variations of Cassie Cage, I don't think that's always using broken characters, also Cryomancer isn't broken, he's just been improved and Fox's ability to adapt and use characters very well.
