REO is like two different bands... when they first came out they played great rock and roll music. Songs like "Like you do" "Golden Country" were fantastic. Then they succumbed to the music producers and their music became bland and began to sound much like some of the other popular groups of the time. They lost what made them unique. Try reacting to a song off of REO TWO album.
