The anime skipped the shido igaguri vs reo kunigami match in the first season. (normally it was supposed to be shown before the world5 match.) In that match we saw for the first time the new weapon that igaguri (monk) developed to survive in bluelock. If you are wondering what his weapon is, you can look at chapter 88-89 in the manga.

I wouldn’t say it’s unhealthy just cause they were each others first meaningful friendship and had one misunderstanding 😭 And to the people complaining about the romantic implications, Nagi was daydreaming about reaching out to hold Reos hand with a sunny blue sky background in the middle of a match. And they had back hugs on the grass with their sunset bike rides. What more do u want?😭
