Reolink Argus PT Camera Review

In this video, I take a look at the Reolink Argus PT WiFi-enabled solar-powered camera.
First, I love that it is solar powered which eliminates the requirements of being close to a power supply and having to mess with additional cables.
The setup and installation process was honestly a breeze. Once we finally got good weather here, I had the whole thing up and running in about 20 minutes. The app-pairing process is really straightforward and kind of neat where you first scan a QR code and then have the camera itself scan a QR code!
The video quality is very top notch especially in high mode and certainly acceptable in low mode, assuming you have good wifi coverage around your intended placement area.
The accompanying app includes a full suite of controls around setting motion sensitivity and zones as well as set points for the camera and return to monitoring positions. If you like to fiddle, you'll have plenty of options with this app.
Overall, the Argus PT seems to be a great option for reasonable value in exchange for solid functionality. It's definitely worth taking a closer look.
