Can't believe you did a 38 min video of battery doorbell and didn't test the battery life...

Unless it is something unreasonably low I tend to leave it out as it can vary for people based on the amount of activity they get by their home. This can also be trickle charged if wired. I also tested 3 different doorbell which made running them completely to dead a little difficult.

Honestly I am not sure. But I do know Reolink does like their PoE devices.

Have you had any issues with motion detection notifications? I bought one 2 weeks ago and it keeps missing motion events even tho status LED turns on. My old ring doorbell from 2019 has been outperforming it.

I did have to dial in the detection settings to get it to detect where I wanted it to. Might need some fine tuning.

The fix for the audio is to use a sim ejection tool and punching through the protective plastic. I guess someone forgot to remove a temporary protective film during assembly.

I saw that is what LifeHackster was told by his rep. I was never told this, but I also don't like the idea of poking anything near the mic. Way to many ways to damage it doing that.

I get that. The audio issue was concerning and it is hard for me to give it a glowing positive review because the issue was not limited to just 1 unit. If you get one that works it is a good door bell.

I am not sure. Generally when they support a digital chime they don't work with existing chime boxes. However, it will work with your hardwired cables to keep it trickled charged.

I had thought about that but it felt like beating a dead horse as I gave it its own section at the start of the video. But, I guess for those that might skip right to the cons it would have been helpful. Thanks fo the feedback.
