Wow Superman’s sign looks great! (Elite ride) Also like how they renamed the place to fit in with movie town. I actually mentioned that they should do that last vlog. I honestly forgot Houdini was in the park for a second but it being closed to fright fest isn’t good. I felt like they did that years ago too.

Some of my coaster impressions: 1. That pretzel loop on Superman is very intense. I would say one of the most intense/forceful ride elements of anywhere in the park. 2. I get insane airtime on Kingda Ka. Both when it reaches the very top (probably come completely out of my seat for 3 to 4 seconds) and the hill at the bottom (underrated IMO). 3. El Toro is in a class of its own. I don't think any other coaster in the park comes close. It is a different level of intensity. Kingda Ka has it too, but only very short lived. 4. Nitro very good airtime moments, love the helix, and hands down the best restraints in the park. 5. Batman is pretty intense, but just wish it was a bit longer. 6. JD hangtime stall followed by that sharp turn around is among my favorite individual coaster moments. 7. Joker is way too short. Some rides are better than others. 8. Green Latern is a pretty solid ride, minus that headbanging.

Would be a great idea to utilize the trains from the surf coaster on Green Lantern.

The Surf Coaster trains aren’t designed for rides like Green Lantern that feature high positive g-forces, so they wouldn’t work that that well on Green Lantern!

I went to here mid april. And the entire section where Medusa is was closed. Im planning on going next week when they are opened during the weekdays. I have two questions. 1. Is the section where Medusa is, still closed? 2. How are the lines on a Wednesday in June?

Medusa has reopened, but not all of Frontier Adventures is open (as of right now). Mine Train is expected to reopen this weekend, which may include the rest of the area (Safari and Best of the West). Lines on a Wednesday in June can vary greatly, it all depends how early in June due to the fact that Great Adventure is a very popular spot for school trips, which are typically on weekdays.

“Houdini’s” is so well-themed, it’s most-of-season closure is disappointing. While I suppose it draws more crowds during Fright Fest, it seems a short window for it to be open. The similar ride at Six Flags New England has been closed too. Villa Volta at Efteling seems unaffected, maybe because it’s in the Netherlands where Vekoma is based it could get parts more quickly?

For me, it’s the complete other way around. To me Superman just doesn’t do anything other than the pretzel loop. Lantern on the other hand has a really good layout!
