Nice video Tibor. Enjoyed the tutorial. That said, I am getting so fed up with every new production trying to sound like an Afterlife track these days. We already had 30 years of copy/paste music, but recently it has become ridiculous.

It’s unfortunate people copycat the style. But that has been the case with all new things. I am excited to hear what’s coming next 💪🏻

Why don't you cover artists that haven't been done on you tube that much like Tipper or Peking Duk??@@reorderdj

I love it thanks for sharing! It's not clear to me whether the base pattern is driven purely by the synth and effect, or that this partially the midi. Could you share a screenshot of the midi/notes?

There is no sound for a few moments before 1.42m.. or is it just me?

I've listened to Anyma and I'm not hearing anything remarkably new. I'm hearing a lot of sounds used in Progressive Psytrance basically retooled for a different genre. His structure and arrangements are a bit fresher. And I love his music, but I wouldn't think it would be industry changing, unless the industry is a helluva lot smaller than I imagined.
@devonforsure2609 ай бұрын
I'm inclined to agree. The sounds aren't new, but the cohesive ways he puts them together make them sound fresh which is a good thing.

It’s the video experience, not the music
@charlessomerset9754Ай бұрын
@vannibombonato4180 that's probably it. I do hear some originality in his arrangements, but all of his patches can be recreated fairly easily. I'm 59, was a club DJ in the 80s and 90s, and dabble with Trance production, so sometimes I just think new fans have no knowledge of the total arc of Trance, and what has come before. True originality to me is something like Sasha's Xpander, or Andy Moor's White Room. But I doubt many of the current crop of mega event kids have even heard those tracks.
@uncommonlygentleman0211Ай бұрын
Agreed. Most sounds are already used before in other genres.

lol this "revealing the secrets of Anyma" from ReOrder sounds like excuses that ReOrder himself couldn't make such music for all those years in the past. ReOrder, this current video is disrespectful. You wish to be as popular as Anyma but it is too late. Cheers
