I also read Elena Ferrante's The Days of Abandonment recently and it was such an amazing literary fiction and think you would love it if you haven't already read it!!!📖📖📖

I recently rearranged my bookshelves, i now have 3 Billy’s along 1 wall and manga cube selves along another. Last yr was really traumatic yr for me and I lost my love of books, but I ended up getting really into manga. Last yr included losing 80%of my book collection to foxing, and didn’t feel inspired or mentally capable to start getting the books back I lost… but Now my love for books is coming back and I’ve started hunting around to replace the some of what I lost- others I lost were really old first and second editions of classics, dnt know if I’ll find those in good condition- without foxing. Now I know ho destructive it can be, I’m not risking it agin. How I organise my books is by ‘vibes’, as I have a huge range of genre I read from. So I have biography’s, mental health, self help, and business books along the top (a cross 3 billy’s) then a self where currently I have poetry and lgbt bios, then SJM across 2 shelves(she hadn’t been outed as problematic when I got my sjm books and they hold a lot of meaning to me so while I dnt support them now, I’m not ready to part with them. Then I have fairy ]tale retelling- My Tolkien shelve as a big LOTR fan, then comic books, then fantasy, Buffy the vampire shelf, then the shelf for ‘demons, ghosts, vampires. Next shelf is sci-fi and dystopian fantasy , then contemporary, then my classics- that took the biggest loss so it’s a pretty bare shelf atm. Also on that shelf is ‘creepy’ stories- hp lovecraft, a similar stories. Last line of shelves now- parenting books (aware, gentle, respectful parenting books) and child development books. My historical shelf- ancient Egyptian, Greek, Norse mythology etc and retellings. Finally is a mis match of war books( like biographies from war times) health books, and learning languages books. I’m never really 100% happy and always moving things here and there. But I’m pretty happy with how it all looks for now. I want to get a book shelf for my room for my smutty books as they missed placed on my historical shelf cause one of them is hades and Persephone retelling. 😂 so I just have the couple I have there for now . So yeah that’s my books shelves. 📚📔📒📖📕📗📘📙📓📝

Because sometimes loving a book makes you into a hoarder
