ever since i first saw your stacked shelves i'd been wanting to try it and I'm glad i was finally able to make some (lol ignore the one at the top with the tissue balancing it i'm not the best with tools and stuff),, i have an extra shelf in my bookshelf that's why only 2 fit but I am really happy with how it looks so thank you for the inspo and tutorial!

@@tsukkinotes Hey I just showed what did. You were the one that did the DIY and made it happen! First one I made for my billy was wobbly and did not fit in flush end to end. So a little sand paper fixed the wobbling lol. But if you ever make more you will just get better like I did! I also think it looks great! Also having hxh and other series split between the 2 looks cool!

Wow your shelf looks great! Such a satisfying video to watch and I loved how you stacked the top shelf, I would have never thought to try that. Also it took me a second to see the clear book ends that were holding up some manga, I was amazed at how you could push them and they didn't fall over....omg lol

It is a really nice story! I've only read the first volume since i'm waiting for the last one to come out in april, but I think if you are looking for a unique shounen ai series that has good representation of the struggles of being in a relationship while navigating a disability it is definitely the way to go, and thank you :) i just watched your reorganizing video as well, i love these types of videos

Great job thanks for sharing I see May volumes I also have my brain can’t separate the Japanese names these days no way no how I have to much other trivia based gobbledygook stored between my ears. I was hoping to see the complete set of Slam Dunk but honestly I’ve given up the chase - 31 volumes and unscrupulous scalpers holding certain volumes hostage at $300 for just one because they know VIZ will never replace all the back orders and that’s a shame :-(

omg you got through all of pedal?? that makes me so happy to hear ahh ,, and i'm sure you mean haikyu as a mainstream one but i'm not sure if kuroko's basketball is still popular? it is about basketball but there's like powers involved so i wouldn't compare it to slam dunk but the cast of characters is colorful and funny like yowapeda, i would also recommend diamond no ace which is an ongoing baseball manga (not sure if that is too mainstream either so lmk if you have read those already)

ah yes i did add an extra shelf and this is kind of embarrassing but i was taking stuff to the dump and i saw a bookshelf there that looked about the same size as mine so i just took one of the shelves (it's brown but i just painted it) i don't think they sell individual shelves like at ikea or anything like that

i would say start with series you know you like, like maybe you have read it before or have seen the anime etc, and then go from there, sorry if that's not the best advice but that's kind of how i went about it, also starting with shorter series like a silent voice is good since it's not too overwhelming, and thank you!

yes! light can fade the spines and also cause yellowing of the pages :) that’s why usually older volumes are quite yellow or have faded covers/spines

If you liked the anime you will definitely enjoy the manga :) it's just as good if not better, the volumes are quite hard to find in english though just warning you

i got a good deal on a chunk of them but ya it’s kind of a pain ... every day i wish it was published by viz or something, the yen press quality is good and the pages are large but seeing as yowapeda has over 70 volumes i don’t even want to think about the price later down the line

@@denkahina97 yes i love the anime! a shame that it hasn’t continued they kind of just left off in the middle of the interhigh so i was expecting a new season sooner rather than later but :( and i think it will continue through the 3rd haha to my knowledge they picked the new captains and everything so it seems like there may be over 100 volumes, and nice! yes the japanese volumes are so much cheaper i think i calculated it once and getting all 70 volumes retail in japanese is like $250 but the equivalent in english would be like $850 💀

i highly recommend it! the characters are definitely more developed in the manga but the movie is a pretty good adaptation,, you can usually find the box set for like $45 on amazon if i’m not mistaken

What are your opinions on Ping Pong Manga?

Do you ever feel sad whenever a series ends?

it depends! some series have satisfying endings or the conclusion has been foreshadowed for a while so those i'm usually prepared for or happy about so more of a bittersweet feeling not "sad" ... i am sad when the ending sucks and i've gotten so invested into the story lol
