The ROTC Program proposed to be revived in colleges/universities should not be connected with HAZING committed by some erring fraternities/sororities. The ROTC is not a fraternity/sorority to which any ROTC student/cadet gains membership in thru Hazing rites. Rather, the revised ROTC Program aims to educate & train a young citizens force for disaster rescue & relief and other community work & provide a venue for Voluntary integration into the regular, national & professional military or police force. Students do not undergo initiation rites when they enroll in the ROTC Program. Meanwhile, school fraternities/sororities are not prohibited from conducting initiation rites among its applicants/neophytes. What is prohibited is HAZING as specifically defined by law. Schools/colleges/universities are, therefore, enjoined by law to strictly accredit, police & supervise membership & initiation activities into fraternities/sororities in their institutions.

Hazing turn manslaughter yang case na yan! Hazing law has a lot of flaw, problem :some big politicians bussiness community tolerates fraternity because they are an alumni of the said organization /brotherhood, the right remedy is criminalize fraternities whether inside or outside of schools or universities. Dapat wala talagang fraternities, make a Law, ask parents as advocate dahil sila ang kawawa, marami namang good and better organizations like YMCA, religious ones and other that are accredited by the gov't

If they can't ban fraternities... Atleast regulate it. Make them apply for yearly license to operate. Strict requirements will be in place like contact info of all members and officers. Once they are involve in hazing... Their license will be revoked permanently. If they operate without a proper license... They shall be deemed as a criminal organization and all members would be arrested and charged. Ewan ko lang kung magloko pa mga Yan. 😅😳
