hello moussabdelhamid, i recently bought an hp 500 plotter but it has error 79:04 (i intend to change the print heads, clean the ink ducts and new ink) to see if i can solve this problem. Another thing I didn't get was to update the plotter's firmware, because even using the add print> add option with disk when I run the update software it says that the plotter is not connected. Can you help me ? I'm starting in the business and the plotter is working would help me a lot.

Do anyone know if $150 usd for a very old good working used designjet 500 is a good price to pay or too much?..seems like a lot of money for a 20yr old obsolete printer....should i offer the seller $25 for it?
