For repairing any PT slab follow below: 1. Make a detailed GPR scan 2. After marking for exact tendon locations, make sure the tendons are grouted well (by using air and water checking) 3. Use epoxy injection if some voids are found 4. back-prop the area 5. Cut the tendon 6. Use remedial measures as advised by engineer / designer

Good video. There might be a lot of misconceptions about PT cables. If you hit one with a shovel digging it won't break will it? If you hit it with a sledge hammer breaking concrete it won't break will it? A jack hammer could break it, right? How can it be loosened if it is in concrete? If the house has PT cables would the garage if it is a lower elevation? Would flat work around the house? I am about to get a GPR and all of the rumors have scared the s.it out of me. I am afraid to break the slab and afraid to dig around it.

at 28:06: the guy is failing at basic self preservation: if the strand would snap at other end at full load, the jack would be flying and hydraulic hoses would cut him in the half. he suppose to stand right next to the wall
