I was looking for a way to have decomposing wood in my water system to clog up the tap spout filters. Nevertheless, by the time I had been out to the store to buy the melty pipey plasticy tool, my plumber turned off the stopcocks and replaced the damaged offending hole with a proper jointing union. What shall we fix next in half-baked ways???

You can simply cut a small piece of 3mm rubber sheet gasket and tight up the clamp on top of it...

Me parece una solución como para salir del apuro hasta poder arreglar como corresponde. Xq ahí estarias obstruyendo el paso del agua con la madera.

Aparte no es muy higiénico dejar ahí un trozo de madera que se vaya pudriendo ...es una solución puntual de horas o un fin de semana hasta poder hacerlo en condiciones.

Кто в жизни видел,чтобы пластиковые трубы прорывало такими аккуратными отверстиями? Это- первое. Если на этом чепике изнутри прицепится волосинка, то спустя немного времени, придетс я ее ремонтировать. Это второе.

Lo ideal sería cerrar el paso del agua, en poco tiempo ese pedacito de madera se trabará en alguna parte en donde no pueda salir y tendrás otro problema a resolver, mejor cierra la llave.😮

cómo una solución momentanea esta bien, pero la presión del agua va a terminar botando la madera y al rato el cliente no va a querer pagar la reparación correcta y lo peor va a estar hablando de que uno hizo mal el trabajo

Obligatoriamente tiene que cerrar el paso de agua, pues la plancha de thermofucion...Sería inútil ya que la temperatura se disipa en el agua.....
