All gauges are / were threaded. Now you replaced the display issue with a gauge issue. The barbaric way you pried them off … i felt it in my bones. Always take the time to gather the missing information before reaching out for a longer prybar. And even so because this is meant to be an instructional video … Doing more damage than good.

Yes it will work but look for one from the same year of manufacture, there is a 50% chance because mercedes fixed this problem after 2008 and the update screen works at 8 volts and the one with the failure at 7v

It is a 2007 plate, and the person selling the second hand cluster and speedometer said it would need programming, so not sure what to do. I do not want to unplug the old one just in case it will need reprogramming. But if you say it will be ok, I will try it lol. Really appreciate your time.
