How to remove Door Panel in 2012-2016 Chevrolet Malibu

Hi, Quick video on how to remove replace take off door panel in 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 CHevrolet Malibu chevy malibu. This procedure will help to get to window motor, speakers, window regulator, lock,glass, and other good stuff.

Needing to swap out my driver side mirror on my 14. Had an ‘05 before, where I could just pop the mirror screw cover piece out itself without the panel having to come off. But at least getting the right placement here gives me a better starting point. Thank you sir !

My 2014 Malibu had arm rest pad seperation. I figured this video was a good place to start, unfortunately there's no way to seperate the door armrest/pad from the door panel. It's plastic welded at the factory from the backside. Hopefully this saves somebody the time & aggravation of trying to repair it. This video serves us well with panel removal for all other issues.

Yes it necessary to put white clip back in. These clips are CPA CLIPS, Connector Positive Assurance clips. These clips LOCK the connectors in place so they cannot come apart. You will lots of them, of different colors on engine connectors. U see the hood they can become brittle, so be careful. If you remove one you should I stall one

Has anyone replaced the stock speakers with aftermarket? No amp just want to switch out the stock ones but was wondering if a harness is needed or just splicing cables or whatever
