Many thanks. I tried mine with an 18v input. Now I have an idea where to start fixing it. Love KZbin!

Pre-1996 Black label CS-3 needs ACA 12V power supply. It doesn't work on 9V. In 1996 they converted it to PSA 9V.

Hello... Thanks for the video. I recently acquired one of these pedals and the previous owner replaced one of the Ic's. I opened it up to take a look and R8 is missing. I can't find any information on this resistor.. do you know what it does? Or if I absolutely need it.? Looks like your board on this video has one installed. any help would be great. thanks

Brilliant video I learnt a lot just watching this I have subscribe to your channel I am thinking of buying a pedal of someone old Ibanez pedal flanger they told me properly best if you run it on a battery because they said the protection diode was removed so does this mean you have to get the proper exact power supply for it. The old pedal does still run on 9 Volts. To make this right where I can plug it in is it easy to fix??

i have a boss adaptive distortion pedal that works half the time. Other times ill plug it up and it won't power off and their is no sound output. I end up just having to take it off my board for that show.

Hey I'm trying to fix my Boss pedal, the same one as this one in the video. And I was wondering how I know what diode and other components to use. For instance you used a 1n4001 for the diode on D1, how do I know which component goes where like for instance what is the part number for R33 or D10, etc. Thank you!

Hope you get it fixed! Not sure I fully understand your question, could you send over an e-mail where you can clarify it a little better? Thanks!
