Repairing a broken Gardiners Extreme Water Fed Pole

I use the Gardiner Extreme 35 and, tbh, I've had nothing but trouble with it. It's the series 2 pole with the metal rings that are used for the clamps to clamp onto. 4 of the sections' metal rings wore loose and they just spin - hence the brush spins on the end. Solved with electrical tape to imitate a "raised" section. They did send me out some epoxy resin to repair it with (the first time it happened) as they wouldn't replace the section, even though it was less than a year old. Next 3 metal rings (on separate sections) that came loose, they insisted that I had to pay for the epoxy resin from now on, so I had to buy some from B&Q in the end. I think it must have been poorly constructed at the assembly factory, as every ring has gone that way now. At this current time, I'm down 2 sections as the carbon fibre wore away and snapped in the middle. I don't mistreat the pole, I use it carefully and don't ever let the sections "drop" into place. I've also got a Gardiner SLR pole 27ft - which I've had for 4 years, the Extreme for 3 - and I haven't had a single problem with that pole at all, which gets used by my employee all of the time. I persevere with the Extreme but it's a right PITA when you've replaced a section, only for a few weeks later another one to go. So annoying, as they're not cheap - upwards of £120.

Gardiner poles are amazing I’ve got the 25 and 35 extreme with extensions for the 35ft working hight 60ft ... customer service from Gardiner are amazing but I’ve got say wcw Liverpool are just as good never had any problems from these 2 companies..... love the videos Darren 👍Liverpool

Hi Darren I have a question regarding pole brushes,what would you suggest I used as a decent brush that cleans windows and seals? I did get one off eBay but is rubbish as the bristles just bunches up together and are no longer straight so get in the way of the jets preventing decent water flow,thanks I’m advance and keep up the great work

London Arsenal hello mate personally we use the gardiners sill brush. Have done almost exclusively for about 4 years.

I had problem with some brushes with screws loosened ,,, 😐 And to screw in the same screw docent work, need to put a bigger one, any experience with that?

TheWindowCleaningDude loads experience with loose screws. Never on a brush though. 😁 perhaps a dollop of super glue on the screw in future to stop them loosening?

So disillusioned with Gardiner Pole Systems! Been a long-time consumer of their products & have spent a considerable amount of money with them over the years! The one time that I need them to come through for me & they refuse to help! My Extreme 22 Pole snapped after just 11 months usage & despite looking after the pole & treating it extremely kindly, Gardiners refuse to honour their warranty! Like many others, I have been given the standard line & the blame put upon myself! I'm shocked at the arrogance of Gardiners & how unprofessional they have proven to be! It's a serious lack of customer service & my confidence in them is rock bottom! I'm done with them!
