Nice work considering the hyd tubing was contaminated with oil inside. You would of thought after seeing the previous weld that they would have run to a local hydraulic shop and had them bend another 1" hyd tubing and fittings? 200-300 bucks? and be done with it.

I took it to the one shop we have around here and they said it would be hard to bend steel as complex as that is.

Yeah, had jobs that should take a minute or so and ended up ages fixing blowed holes, only other possibility were be to clamp a cut pipe over the weakened part with a larger diameter and weld that, but I'd prefer to just get a new pipe bent, sure there are shops that could achieve that fast, just need to find that right craftsman in your area. Still, good quick fix!

Thanks. I actually checked with the go-to hydraulic shop in the area on my way out to go install this part. they said it would be too hard for them to try and bend it. I don't have my own bender nor do I have the space for one currently. If I did there would be a lot of things I'd be doing with it that no one else seems to really be doing in this area.

@@scrapmanindustries Not sure you would need a bender, cant you just pack it with sand, heat it up in a small forge and bend it by hand?
