Repairing a Shanghai 555 7402 clock Ep 1

G'day Ken, I have a sestrel 1948 ships clock where the original mechanism has been removed & an electrical mechanism installed. Is it possible to put a new mechanical mechanism in it to restore to original?

Yes absolutely Tony but you would need the correct movement for the case. The main issue being that the winding arbors and motion works have to line up with the holes in the dial. But yes if you have another movement that matches, put her in!
