Repairing and restoring a Kurzweil K2500 & K2600 Fatar TP-10 keyboard keybed.

NOTICE: I AM NOT A CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN: USE THESE INSTRUCTIONS, TOOLS, MATERIALS AND METHODS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND PERIL.
Obviously, this is a rough DIY instructional video. Yes, I am fully aware that there are a few spots of (minor) conflicting or incomplete information. Sorry, but two days of my life is all I was willing to devote to your Kurz' resuscitation, jaja.
A few notes:
- UNPLUG THE UNIT BEFORE DISASSEMBLY!
- The lid will not be entirely "portable" with the proscribed screws removed; there are multiple ribbon cables connecting stuff. However, you shall be able to manuever it aft enough to ease removal of the keybed assembly.
- The keybed frame has many sharp metal features: USE CAUTION!
- The keybed has 4 ribbon cables that connect it to the synth: take PICS and also MARK them.
- The keybed assembly is not light. I'd estimate 45#/20kilos and it is bulky & awkward to remove & replace; seek assistance as required.
I also experimented installing 2 layers of felt. Although the result was a phenomenally quiet keybed, it caused the actual playing key-surface to be comically out of level while notably affecting the velocity response.
Failed experiment, 6-hours to correct.
Don't try.
PS- The restored 2500xs is for sale for $900.
Floppy drive replaced by USB unit.
Quiet fan installed.
Super clean.
Hard manual (for 2600, but complete).
No case, no pedals.
