Front plates a failure, naughty mot tester..the letters on the front have to be the same 79mm tall like the rear.very naughty mot tester. Bent mot test.

Can’t believe how lax the MOT system is in England. Here in Ireland you have to bring it to a fully regulated company and there is zero tolerance for anything. They also test tracking and alignment which I can’t believe you don’t do in the UK, just seems crazy any old garage in the UK can MOT a car. Sure if a mate of yours passed your car and it are with rust there’s no regulation on it

I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with it - yes it’s small but it’s still got a all characters spaces and any camera could still pick it up . Whilst also most cameras take pictures of the back of the vehicle where his number plates is very clear 👍🏻

In all fairness, working in the trade. Iv known mot testers pass for way worse than a license plate. Saying they, and i quote, “will” lose their license is a huge overstatement. Just calm down and let him enjoy the vantage whilst you sit at home with your kia on the drive.

As an MOT tester That plate is a pass providing the lettering is the correct size and has at least an 11mm margin. There is no actual requirement for for the plate to be a certain size just the lettering and margin.

Chris. Get a switchable fuse for the exhaust mate. with the flaps active you get considerably better fuel economy when you are pootling about.

Love this version of the Vantage. I have a VH platform car 2009 vintage and while not the fastest out there they are still quick cars, they also look and sound incredible. Love to see how this car turns out. Get a CCCharger control switch, then you can replace fuse 22 and control it via the remote inside the car meaning loud and quiet at the press of a button.

Hate to tell you but your number plates are illegal, the law changed earlier this year

Think there is a lot of confusion on that front number plate. Check the DVLA site, as long as the characters are at a certain size and diameter on a white reflective background then its a pass. Im sure theres nothing on there about the actual size of the plate itself, its the characters they are shithot on. Saying that tho, i would change them tho u may draw unwanted attention from a bombastic officer who will go out of his or her way to make your life hard. The car is stunning, a real head turner. Don’t make it a target for jealous people who hate on you for owning one. Keep safe all, much love
