Bro, a torch flame less than 12” from a seam leak !! JC ! Man you are damn lucky that fumes didnt come out of that crack. Your method is logical but the way your doing it is extremely UNSAFE. Perhaps if the tank was removed and washed with dish detergent and blown out with compressed air. Then move the tank about a mile and a half from the tractor and then proceed with your welding technique. That would not have been a good outcome for you if that flame had caught a wiff of those fumes !

Thanks for sharing. Nice video repair on gas tank without pulling tank. I have the exact same problem on my craftsman, Try mapp gas in your torch because it gets things hot much faster than the propane gas,

How's she goin'? That's a neat fix on the tank. Well done and it'll be a strong as new I bet. My tractor is just about ready for a race. A few more little things I need to do and I'll be all set!!! Lawn mower races!! What fun eh!!! Thanks for sharing this repair. Take care!!!

@@CountryLivingWithTheHarnishs Yes hopefully I can. I regret not filming the mower running when it was new so I could have a reference to compare to now. I'm looking forward to you all reaching 1000 subs soon. Keep pressing forward! 😁
