Rotary Hammer Drill Restoration DeWalt D25113 Rotor Replace

An old DeWalt 26MM hammer drill, It cost me about ￥12.In this video， I’ ll use another hammer drill's rotor to repair ths one. And restore it.

This is the 5th tile project we've done where we've removed the old tile before installing new tile, and the first one with this tool kzbin.infoUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS . I want to cry for all the unnecessary work we've done in the past. With this tool, we removed tile surrounding a fireplace, as well as the hearth tile, set in loads of cement, in less than an hour. I highly recommend this tool. It was easy to use, and very satisfying watching the tile literally fall off the wall.

I used to repair power tools over 20 years ago & I had to fully.rekit rotary hammer 🔨 drills which were like that. I can remember a similar rotary hammer drill which was a Makita I repaired twice during my apprenticeship because a builder owned it & the carbon brushes just wore out in 1 year. Each time I had to machine, undercut.& polish the commutator, replace the bearings, clean out & rekit the gearbox & piston assembly,the kit came with new O rings, seals & the genuine Makita hammer grease which was used to lubricate both the gearbox & piston,it was basically the same as the yellow Hitachi grease which was almost liquid in consistency. We only ever used the genuine hammer grease because I have seen demolition hammers come in which were repaired at other workshops where wheel bearing grease had been used to lubricate the piston & seal assembly which is the incorrect grease for the tool. The chuck should also be lubricated with grease so that the bit doesn't jam up inside of the chuck & it's a good idea when there's metal on metal contact as well. From memory Ramset grease is available to lubricate the chuck & bit in their power tools !

i think the tool has lost much of his power because of bad O-Rings. I know its just for the channel but always change the O Rings at the flight piston and if you can open it in the Zylinder/Gear assembly. They cost just a few bucks and will make a big difference.

I purchase Dewalt D25133 old drill and cleaned plastic with diswash liquid + tooth paste, looks very clean now.

Oh thats easy. The brown/yellow grease is cheap crap that is basically Vaseline. Thats because the chap publishing this video understands how a multi meter works but not power tool gear boxes.

There was nothing wrong with the grease in the gear box. You can order spare plastic shell parts from a Dewalt repair agent for less than the cost of the cleaning materials used in this video. These drills are not that old and still on sale and you can have them repaired. The cheap brown grease (basically Vaseline) you re-packed this drill with is entirely unsuitable for a high speed SDS drill, it will melt and run everywhere the first time you seriously use it. You ruined it. Did you not notice the proprietary green grease? available in tool merchants and specifically made for SDS Plus and SDS Max drill gear boxes. Not the cheap brown crap you used. Stick to testing circuits as you know bugger all about power tools.
