Most ordinary Britons saw little benefit from the British Empire, as the vast wealth it generated went to the elite-aristocrats, industrialists, and merchants. For the average person, particularly in rural areas, life remained much the same, with little connection to the empire’s exploits. In fact, working-class people often bore the brunt of imperial policies, providing labour under harsh conditions in industries like shipbuilding and textiles. Some argue that colonial wealth actually deepened inequality at home, enriching the few while many Britons remained in poverty. This makes it feel unjust to ask modern working people to pay for reparations when their ancestors didn’t share in the empire’s gains.

The thing they call racist is the the thing which created diversity and gave us Black brits and African Americans. So diversity should not be celebrated either by that metric. "A colonial mindset". Colonialism itself is not something we should view as this black and white issue. The fact that a more advanced, more developed culture colonizes a less developed culture will potentially also have positive effects in the long run. And to view things this way is in fact true when it comes to ALL of our common history. One should never view history with anger and hate but with a rational, cool-headed mindset and learn from it. Absorb it all, good and bad and grow as you move forward and not repeat the mistakes of yesterday. The whole reparations movement is the opposite of that.

So lets stop talking about reparations, lets start talking about repatriation. Let lem go to their own historical homeland, among their own families. Living in their own culture.
