IMO there is no excuses point blank period our coaches were in a nutshell very outcoached no way around it! Our kids fought their hearts out I as a Gaffney supporter am very proud of them I have a son that plays for Gaffney and I’m just being real the our coaches were outschemed across the board special teams, defensively, offense tried but the coaches had the same amount of time as their coaches did to get them boys ready and they failed! Poor clock management is not on the kids ,the not working on tackling and blocking and staying in your lanes on kickoffs all fall on the coaches the kids did what their coaches told them to do! Bottom line is Gaffney coaches tried to play checkers when DF was playing chess!!

I respect this. This is what we do year in and year out. Next year. We'll ramp it up even better. There is NO complacency allowed. We respected Gaffney and worked hard to not let what happened last year to happen this year. We are NOT with losing!!!!

I understand Dutch fork has lost out of state games but has also won out of state games! Creekside being one of those wins. So them being 0-2 is false. Nevertheless that’s not the point I care about. You can say Dutch Fork isn’t a top 25 team , I said they were arguably top 25. We can agree to disagree! The fact is Gaffney played their hearts out and certain fans like to ride last years wave and make excuses to why Gaffney lost. I can’t respect fans who can’t appreciate a hard fought game on their teams end!

@@tootjones3691 It really was about them making Dutch Fork's path harder to get to State and making Fort Dorchester's path easier. There had to be some back room dealing. Not sure who did it but why leave the 2nd and 3rd team in that region in the lower state and move the 1 and 4 to the up state. That doesn't even sound right. Why would they even do that. There had to be an agenda. The South Carolina High School League is so corrupt it's not even funny..
