This is so amazing. You can't argue with "boots on the ground" as a witness to Scriptures. How far is the city of Neom from Mt. Sinai and do you know how it's progressing?

I recently watched a video by Glen Fritz talking about the routes thru Midian. I'm glad you pointed out the problem regarding the steep narrow trail that could not be on their route. I'll have to watch this again and take the time necessary to digest this info. But shouldn't the latter half of the lunar month read waning gibbous, last quarter and waning crescent?

Yes, you are right, the picture I used was lame, doesn't have those terms written correctly, nice pick up. I believe in the northern hemisphere " waxing" is the moon shape moving towards a full moon (Passover, arrival in Wilderness of Sin), and "waning" is the moon shape moving towards a new moon (arrival in Wilderness of Sinai).

Hi. Could you share more videos on the Gold smelting sites and the stone mould for the wings of the cherubims.

We will have a video about that soon.

there was an article about the plane that found Saddam Hussein's tanks hidden in the sand by using an IR camera. The same plane was flying over the Sinai Peninsula and found an IR signature that looked like a trail - ENDING AT THE BEACH IN NUWEIBA 🤯🤯🤯

Considering the congregation could not travel on the sabbath which was 7 days after they came to Midbar Sin on the 15th. This was either Dophkah or Alush. The next sabbath after that would be 7 days later. That camp must have been Rephidim. That would have been the 29th of second month. In the first day of the 3rd month they would enter Midbar Sinai. They may have taken one or two days more days to reach Horeb. Thutmose III traveled 25 km per day with his troops. Amenophis II made 23.3 km per day and Rameses II did 20.3 per day. Summary by Arnulf Kuschke 1979 - 2015 Travelling with flocks and herds they could only make 18-21 km per day.

Yes, you are correct. If they entered the Wilderness of Sin day 30 and quail came in, that was most likely the 5th day, next day manna fell, 6th day, then rest. I have them fleeing north on day 33 (Dophka) Alush day 34, water from rock late day 35, battle 36/37 , clean up 38, now double portion manna 6th day 39, rest day 40 - At that point, early in the AM, 1st day of week they have 4-6 days to get to Sinai! Exodus 19:1 is translated in modern English that they ENTERED on it was the 1st day of 3rd month (Septuagint). So the fastest leading fit crowd entered 4 days hoofing it, but the slower portions continued pouring in on 5th , 6th day - all in place for first Sabbath at Sinai on day 47. (Shavuot would be the next 1st day of week, to complete the 7 Sabbaths!) Recall on mapping out the route, google earth, and onsite observations, there are a few short cuts. the first leaving Rephidim, the second at Marah, and the third at mile post 39.5. Taking that route shaves off another 2.5 miles. There is a road there now, and they have laid water pipe for NEOM along the road. There is just a small ridge to go over, would be no problem for sheep with a good shepherd. I would take that route if I had some goat. So what I'm saying is the slowpoke trip from Rephidim to Sinai is actually 10-15 miles per day, because you had a full week to do it! Just make it there by sunset on 6th day! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6KXf36tbttspLcsi=PArbZ6J4j7I-d--R

@@relway3209 The day before they enter and travel through midbar Sin they are camped near the yam suf (Num 33:10) near Ezion-Geber. They actually travel on the 7th day of the previous week because Moses doesn't start counting days of the week until they reach midbar Sin on the 30th. They then move south along the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba to Midbar Sin where the quail come in from the sea. This is day 1 of Israel's first week. (Exodus 16:23) Then two days travel [Saudi Hwy 55] to Dophkah. Where they camp for a day. Then two more days to travel [Saudi Hwy 394] to Alush where they camp on the 7th day of the week. Then travel 4 days to Rephidim where they fight the Amalekites and recover for 2 days. The last day is the 7th day of the week again and the 29th of the month. The next day is the first day of the 3rd month and they enter Midbar Sinai. It then takes 2 days to get situated at Horeb.

Very interesting information. All good until the organ music.😵💫
@relway3209Ай бұрын
Lol, 😂 I hope its the organ music, but not the hymn - "A Shelter in the Time of Storm" Vernon J Charlesworth who wrote the words, was a good Baptist who ran an orphanage in England. The tune written down by Ira Sankey (connected with D L Moody), the song was a favorite of fishermen who sang it during storms as they approached the north coast of England. Seems appropriate since Israel was approaching from the north, and looking for refuge. 😇
