True, not great, but at least you don’t have to remove screws and drop glove boxes like a lot of cars. The Nissan techs do it in seconds.

I FULLY agree. I have bigger hands so getting the filter in and out in such a cramped space was good exercise 😄

The trick to getting the piece back in is to lean it way back to engage the notch, much farther than you think. It took my 5 minutes to figure that out and it zipped right in.

Yeah took me forever to figure that one out. Lean it back meaning leave the bottom edge out further while the top is put in place. I was getting it in place but the top edge wasn’t engaged. Damn near started ripping it apart in frustration.

This design is a huge FAIL! Also, their dipstick location is HORRIBLE! Other than that I love my Pathfinder.

I always check and replace the cabin filters whenever I rent a rental car and this is by far the worst one ever.

I was able to get the old filter out but not able to get the new one in. It seems like car needs to be raised up for the easy access. I really don't want to take it to the mechanic for something simple as changing cabin filter. Damn you Nissan

Bro this is literally harder than it seems like it wouldn’t come out and then when I tried to put the filter back in it like folded so weirdly and now it’s just in like that all wrinkly and folded up
