Hi, I was disassembling my headphones, but couldn't figure out how you separate the two parts at around the 2:11 mark. Do I have to pull them in opposite directions? Or do I have to take apart the plastic bit holding them together?

Hi, due to the fact that the holes in the plastic part have round holes and the metal rods are slightly flattened, you need to pull these rods out of the plastic part using force. They come out, but with enough force. And when assembling, they will also have to be inserted with force.

How did you put it back on the metal rods? I almost destroyed the headphones and the entire workbench trying to pull them apart. You can't seriously expect somebody to put it back in.

Yes, this was perhaps the most difficult action. Pressed it in with knipex pliers wrench. You could, of course, try it with a vice, but I can store them a little far away.

@@alexanderzavialov1545 I used pliers too to get the "RIGHT" and "LEFT" clips on. Not very pretty on one side, because a little but of the plastic inside the headband came out and I couldn't push it back in. Putting the two rods back in the plastic holes I solved by widening the holes with a drill. Not very ideal but I think it's enough. With how stiffly it was holding before I think it could probably support my entire body weight if just grabbed the headphones and hung on them :D

No, you don't need to cut cables. First you need to unsolder, change the cover, and at the end solder each cable back to its place.

@@alexanderzavialov1545 seriously, to just replace the headband you have to dismantle the cable ??? really ? how it is possible ? so then, if it is in wrong state, no other choice to trash it ??? it is ncrazy !! sorry, but I don't have all this material, and honestly I'm not confident at all t do that ! How Marshall can deliver such a materail ? I don't want to trash my headphone just for the headband, it is not serious...

Unfortunately, I did not find other options available. I also saw a video where a person sews directly "in place of the headband without disassembling the wires, but for this you need to have materials and be able to sew ...

@@alexanderzavialov1545 indeed I think it is the only one solution if we don’t want to dismantle I don’t have at all skills and material to do it… I contacted Marshall support and they directly say that they don’t foresee the replacement … it’s incredible … I will try by sewing it and will see Thanks anyway for this video and for your quick reply ;)

Алексей, приветствую. Попытался снять видео не ради лайков, а в стремлении показать процесс замены ковера. К сожалению это всё, что получилось снять, специального штатива не нашлось, поэтому телефон лежал на полке над столом. Разбирал свои наушники в первый раз, и также не предполагал как там всё внутри устроено. Если правильно понял вопрос, то интересует как снялась деталь на минуте 2:20? Там пришлось применить силу, там запресованы были металлические ободки в пластиковую деталь. И при обратной сборке их тоже нелегко вставить обратно. Но в принципе реально. Если есть вопросы, постараюсь помочь.

Люди, не зря у чела еврейская музыка стоит под видео, иммейте ввиду, что когда вы скобы снимите (золотистые) вы их обратно в заводское состояние не согнёте, и крепления (кронштейн) который держит наушник, вытянув его с обода, обратно он не встаёт, пришлось на суперклей садить, мой вам совет, не смотрите таких евреем на ютубе, которые специально обрезают видео на моменте, где он не может надеть новое оголовье и заканчивает на этом видео (я всё таки сделал это, но ушло три дня, что скобы я не смог согнуть обратно в заводское состояние, что крепление на клей пришлось хреначить, что это оголовье новое хрен натянешь) скажу честно, лучше бы старое оголовье оставил, ведь за новую внешность нового оголовья я расплатился внешностью этих золотистых скоб и муками на 3 дня)
