Are the old ones the factory or aftermarket speakers? I saw that in some cars the factory speakers are riveted in. Also, do you know the speaker size of the rear door ones? is it the same process, give or take?

@@Amir-gc8re The old ones are from factory. They are original Renault speaker. In my prelift Clio, speaker got bolts, not rivets.

@@marcinkrzywonos9081 Thanks a lot ! I'm also finding conflicting info regarding the size of both front and rear speaker. I see you use 5.25'' ones to the front. will 6.5'' fit? what about the size of the rear ones?

@ Yes, 6,5 speakera fit BUT you need to throw away plastic box. Then the 165mm speaker must be on rivets.

Im puling on the door panel but it yust dosent wont to budge like im worried ill break the panel itself do you have any tips or trics for that?

It's difficult to remove door panel, i use a litle more force and break one clips. So don't worry. On the video it looks easy because I remove door panel few times. Start from side where is no speaker and move under to the speaker. I recomennded good quality removal tool are made plastic. And dont hurry.

How are the default speakers in this car? Are they beyond trash or are they decent enough with a good amplifier?

Original speaker are also good, but not offer high quality sound. C'mon this is renault xD If you got Clio IV prelift and you want to "premium update", just instal 160 mm speaker. To this job you need to remove plastic box for speaker.

@@marcinkrzywonos9081 I figured. Cheap car, cheap stuff.. I'm looking into replacing the head unit first to get android auto installed. If speakers still sound crap I may end up replacing them. Thanks for quick reply!

Both panels are bolted...little panel from you seems to be with torks 20..so whats the trick?thanks

Door panel is bolted by torx bolts. After when yoy unscrew all of the bolts you need to "pull' the panel. The bets way is using special tools for that. On the video I skipped the boring unscrew moment. If you want ask me something, be more specyfic, I will try to help

@@sobol_race8427 I tak i nie :D tzn o wiele lepsze ma wysokie tony Alpine, wokal bardzo czysty i to na plus względem Oryginału. Niestety bas nieco słabszy, także warto byłoby z tyłu w drzwiach dać coś co lepiej radzi sobie z niskimi tonami.
