What are the specs of the SSD required? I'm upgrading mine but fear making a mistake.

I put the HDD in the external enclosure, I can use the HDD. But once I put it in the caddy, it is not recognized at all. I tried BIOS also. Caddy is working in other laptop. Give me advice

What is the fastest SSD this model can handle?
@freename Жыл бұрын
I don't know the answer to that, sorry. Anything faster should be backwards compatible with the laptop though - it will just perform slower.

Hi I wanna to upgrade my Lenovo z50-70 hdd to m.2 nvme PCIe m-key SSD How can I do that?
@freename Жыл бұрын
I don't think it has the right port or space in the case to do that. Only a standard SATA SSD.

Could you please help us how did you clone HDD to SSD

For home use... use a USB to SATA adapter and Macrium Reflect. Free for home use.

@@freename Macrium Reflect is no longer free. Since the Free Edition of Macrium Reflect is going to be retired on 1st January 2024, you need to pay for its functions. The cost starts at $70 for a license for each computer to $599 for a Server Plus.

Some laptops support a hard disk in the DVD drive slot using a converter. You can try this.

Why are you using 2different ram in your laptop?
@freename2 жыл бұрын
No reason not to, as long as the specifications match. But actually what you see in the video is the same ram but one is upside down so has a different sticker on the other side.
