Replace Sewing Machine Thread Fast

because once you are proficient at your machine it doesnt really save any time you have to tie the knot babysit it through the routing , cut the knot. then thread the final guide and needle. seriously it will save you 5 seconds max

Good tip. I had another buddy show it to me quite a while back. I just gotta pay attention to remember to put the new spool thread thru the eye on the spool stand. More than once I've forgotten that crucial lil step...lol.

I need a machine, hand stitching is a pain and hate it. Takes too much time for simple projects..... I’m considering a couple from Nick O Sew in TN. A consew or a Juki. The consew does not have a reverse and the Juki does so for a little more I’m going with Juki.

Boy Scouts call it a square knot. I usually use a Surgeon’s Knot.

I dont use this trick, BECAUSE one i am actually quicker to just rethread it, and secondly i check to make sure my machine is set correctly every time. When I change thread I usually change colors, each color has different tension needs in the machine, I am guessing the chemicals used to make the colors change its properties a little bit. I also find different manufactures have different winding so. TLDR just learn your machine, you are not a sweatshop worker saving 5 seconds max isnt likely worth it.

Do you know where I can get the correct thread the stuff on Amazon feels like cotton but says blended nylon and it breaks every time. Also what needle sizes too please.
