Hi Aaron, great informative videos! I have an issue where there are no error code detected but the paper keeps jamming once it hits the fuser module. Is this an issue of replacing the whole module or the bearings?

Vinh Nguyen generally once the bearings are worn so are the heat and pressure rollers and several gears. It is better to replace the fuser as a unit. We have them for $300. They are available elsewhere as well. Are you in the US?

هادى جاد جاد usually that means that one of the rollers in the fuser (heater) is worn. It slows down the paper and so causes a jam.

Josadec Pedraza so you’ve already replaced the fuser and still see the message? Unplug the machine for 5 minutes and plug it back in. If that doesn’t work, try the following: 1. Enter diagnostics mode. Press and hold the 0 for 5-10 seconds then press Start. Enter code 6789. Confirm. 2. Press Machine Status button. Select Tools tab. System settings and Common settings will be highlighted. Scroll to and select Maintenance / Diagnostics. 3. Scroll to page 2. Select Adjustments / Others. Select HFSI Counters. 4. Arrow down and select 954-850. Select Details. Select Spec Life and enter 99,999,999 and Save. 5. Repeat step #4 for 954-851. 6. If the fuser is replaced reset both counters in 954-850 & 954-851. If you do this you will never get a "replace fuser" message again. Just run the fuser till it physically fails. You will know when it fails because the ink might start rubbing off, there are lots of jams at the fuser, or there are wrinkles in the pages. There is a duplexing assembly on the side of the machine. It probably needs to be replaced. We have them. Are you in the US?

That is in the fuser. The machine is sensing that the paper is taking too long to leave the fuser module. How many pages since the fuser was rebuilt or replaced?

It sounds like a fuser code. You need to replace the fuser. We don't have this part for the 5335 right now, but www.partsdrop.com should.

The paper isn't clearing the fuser module in time. It could be the rollers in the fuser or the switch that detects the paper coming out of the fuser.

Sounds like a scanner lamp failure. Turn it off and pull the cord out of the back for 45 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it back on. If that doesn't reset it, then there is a problem with the scanner.
