I love it when car washes malfunction. Didn't even know that Ryko had an emergency rinse! I'd recommend adding malfunction to the title of the video, it's hard to search for videos like this!

WOW! In my entire life, I've always joked about how horrible our XS 2's are in my area... but this.... It takes the cake. I've never seen an XS 2 that doesn't have a treadle!

Most Amazing!! Speedway appears to like Ryko.. our speedways with car washes usually have Laserwash 4000's or Hanna Coleman FasTrack's.

Yes! That's because Speedway bought hess, and HessExpress installed a lot of 4000 units and some of them have been replaced by fastraks.

This definitely shows that these owners should never ignore the age of those Ryko systems and also shows that newer Ryko parts don't always work with older models but that was still kind of worry some.

I think they replaced the car wash with a SoftGloss MAXX 5 because on google maps they have a new garage and they took out the thrustpro too

the problem are those new tredle systems that ryko came out with, ever since they were made i've seen none stop problems

This has always been a fear of mine with these machines. Very surprised that machine doesn't have photo eyes to detect the back of the car to stop the front brushes wrapping around the back like that. At first they retracted and I was like "oh there you go it detected the back of the car and retracted" Then they came back in and I was like ohh crap! Luckily it stopped before doing damage. Edit: Watching it again it looks like it did the right thing and retracted but when the arms bounced back on the rubber bumpers they got stuck. The machine should have waited a few moments to let the arms come to a complete rest before moving forward again. Scary!

I don’t believe I’ve ever seen an XS2 act up this terribly. (Then again I haven’t filmed an XS2 yet. (Coming soon?)) At least they were able to give you a refund.

I can just imagine a Ryko technician coming to look at it and just going into shock from the sheer number of error codes it starts spitting out, let alone seeing what the machine itself is doing with a car in the bay

CrestwoodRocks that’s not exactly a good idea... Ryko nowadays makes cheaply built systems instead of the workhorses they used to make back in the 80-90s. This place could use a Washworld Razor or a BayWash I5.

CrestwoodRocks it is a bit more expensive but the baywash I5 has better technology and design wise is superior to Ryko Five Brush systems.
