They told me not to hold up for a miricle but it came in song form

Scrolling through my older liked videos and stopping to revisit this underappreciated tune. Blues with extra rock mixed in and an ELO-type chorus. Brilliant.

Celestial Planes - In Defense of Madness - Will always hold a sentimental value to me Voyager - Handbag - Great for vibe-ing, it really calms you down Memories - Finding My Way (Back Home) - Loved that one, tells a great story, the added minors and diminished chords made it really stand out Rebirth - Sky Blues - My favorite one so far! Loved the stops between the instruments and vocals!

So, I accidentally deleted my original comment (darn mobile app :’D), so if you don’t mind me repeating my praise for this song, I know I certainly don’t mind X3 Your P@D releases have become something of a tradition it seems, and it’s definitely a tradition I look forward to every time EPT announces a new album~ Even now you manage to pack on new surprises tho! P1K on a Replacer song? Now that is sweeeeet >u< brings me back to the days of I’m Daring and The Beatle Bronies. Awesome work you guys, another slick classy tune :D

Okay, that repetitive guitar in the finale, after that... 'hit it' call - it just straightforward sucks. The rest of this song, however, before that wtf-ending, is pretty good. Just altogether right-sounding.
@matthewyoung62636 жыл бұрын
Boromir Smith Hm, I don’t think it sucked, but it could have changed up eventually.
@replacer6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the honest feedback. Ending was intended to be raucous and unmusical, like the band mentioned in the lyrics, can understand why not everyone would enjoy listening to that but I like it for the moment
@Hugmir6 жыл бұрын
I know, and I get it, but if I was in that band, playing my instrument next to that guitarist, I think I'd attempt to slap him out of it >.>
@Galiquany6 жыл бұрын
Wow, and I loved the ending. A pounding, hard-driving outro to really drive the point home with a great bass line. Reminded me of the Beatles a lot (think Helter Skelter for instance).
@cocoapen56506 жыл бұрын
This song is not about ponies at all. Are you guys just saying it's a pony song so that the fandom will support the song more?
@matthewyoung62636 жыл бұрын
Cocoa Pen It’s inspired by ponies. The lyrics don’t need to reference ponies specifically for it to be about ponies. If it weren’t for ponies, this song wouldn’t exist.
@replacer6 жыл бұрын
Oh, we're not claiming it's a song about ponies. Our pony characters are just there to represent us, and to maintain a certain kind of spirit around the music. I personally do this quite a bit.
@ponderingperegrinator31466 жыл бұрын
It's really a song about this strange state that the human condition has reached. Even though the technology that the human race has developed promised to make the world a better place for everyone, it seems to become a contributing factor to division, inequality, conflict, and isolation on an unprecedented scale. People know more than ever about how things work, including the planet, the universe, and even their own bodies, but they seem to understand even less than before.
