Super Sue. Your gentle explanation of each process is so easy to follow and understand. Like you I have many old images which I will look at again and maybe apply this gorgeous technique. Thank you.

Thank you Pauline, it is the only way I can learn and so this is the way I teach. You probably have many images like myself that we can apply different techniques to.

@@AZJack Yes Jack I think it all depends on the subject, just a case of trying different backgrounds to see which one suits. Also using blend modes can change the look.

@@shelleywoods8375 Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I know how difficult it can be and I would say just learn and practice the techniques over and over again, it will all slot into place. That’s what is so good about youtube you can watch over. Don’t try and learn everything at once about Photoshop it is a huge program and there are many ways to achieve the same effect.
