Replacing a broken manifold on a 77 MGB part 1

I replace a broken Zenith Stromberg manifold on a 1977 MGB

Late to the repair party here, but I realized I am missing the forward shield under the manifold and heat riser shroud you referenced on a 78 B rdstr. Can't seem to locate the part, description or drawing, but saw a rough sketch in Haynes. In California so stuck retaining the the lousy manifold. Appreciate any direction to part or picture and your videos have surely helped speed my engine rebuild.

Outstanding video and presentation. I had purchased a 76 MGB with the same cracked manifold too. The cause of the crack was due to a radiator leaking coolant on the manifold. This cause the manifold to crack. FYI, welding the crack does not work.

It's a whole lot easier pull manifold with carb on it, then pull the carb off
