Appreciate the instruction man. My father in law couldn’t figure out how to fix his so watching your video and doing it for him scored me some brownie points with the old man lol.

“****simple fix**** My belt jumped off and I had the same problem: trying to get the belt around that lip. I used a tire iron to pry the lip back a bit and then used a hammer to beat it back. Worked like a charm. Hope this helps.

At 7:30 you don't need to hold it at the bottom with the pliers. There are two black tabs that come out from the bottom and bend upwards. You can use those black little handles to hold the blade drive pulley in place while you loosen the bolt on top.

I have the LT 3800 and this thing has no good videos so thanks I am going to try to tackle it now again after seeing this video. The drive belt snapped, and I can’t figure out how to get it back in

Hello JFREEDOM. Thank you for the video. Can I ask you a question regarding the orientation of the Deck Engage Cable (PTO Cable) on your unit? I'm struggling with one that seems a bit short, not enough slack to route it through the tab that's on chassis, and the only option is to let it rest on top of the transmission. Not sure if this is ok or if I need to purchase a longer cable. Also, there should be a part # on your existing cable. I don't have one at all, so I believe the new replaced cable is not the correct one. I hope it all makes sense to you.

I have an exact model of this mower and I'm having problems with it staying running while using it; it suddenly shuts off after around 20 to 25 minutes or more while using it, then starts back up after restarting it; any ideas on what the problem could be?
@jfreedom77213 жыл бұрын
Pull off your spark plug and see if it needs replaced, I had that same kinda issue and that’s what it ended up being.
@FNAFFan5553 жыл бұрын
@@jfreedom7721 ok, thanks! There's one other problem with it that I'm having, and I'm not sure why its doing this: when im not moving on it while using it; it revs up really loud like its about to explode or something. I keep the seed lever of it at around 5 and half while I'm mowing, and I don't move it any when it does this. I looked around at everything to see if I could figure why it's doing this, and I havent found anything broken or loose; other than now knowing that the spark plug may need replacement and this, there's nothing else currently wrong with it. Any ideas on what might be causing it to do this? I really appreciate your help!

Find your carburetor and look directly above it, there is a Phillips screw with a swirly wire coming off the back, you can adjust it by turning it, which will change the rpms the mower is running at, it may be set too high which is why your mower sounds like that.
@FNAFFan5553 жыл бұрын
@@jfreedom7721 ok thanks!, the spark plug did need replacement, and I just tried adjusting the carburetor; and it now runs and performs like normal! I guess the adjusting screw came loose at some point, because I found that it was a little too loose; that might be why it was running like it was, its fine now, so thank you for your help!
