thanks for the video, i just cut the leather off of my auto shifter as it was cracking and falling apart when i bought it. just keeping the plastic clean for now until i think of a way to rewrap it. mine is of course a cosmetic repair only but thank you for showing me how to pop the plastic piece off near the overdrive button.

How do you remove the complete shift from the car? Is it difficult and is there any video on it. How do you remove it under the car.

I just have one question for you if you know of course. Can you disconnect the 2 wire from the overdrive button instead. Could there be a problem with the overdrive after you have pulled them out?

Yes if you've disconnected them and not reconnected properly it'll cause overdrive problems.
