@GeekendZone I used an oem sensor and an autel one. Oem is already activated and just has to be synched with the car. I got it on rock auto I think. Autel is cheaper but a bit tougher to activate. I have an autel scanner that I can use to activate and/or sync them

Thinking about the TPMS sensor woe you had, it's certainly not the first sensor that was killed by a can of Fix-A-Flat or Slime. I even seen a few of them self-destructed by age.

I had heard warnings about fix a flat but they claim to be safe. What a crock. It did patch the leak for a while, but at an expense.

Do you have to reprogram them or do you just replace them and your all good?
@JonnyAbs-011 ай бұрын
Yes I did. I bought and used an autel ts501 tool. The ts401 tool cannot write, only read. The ts501 has been great for me. It goes on sale from time to time. I got it for $160. Retail is like $200

@@JonnyAbs-0 thank you I have a tmps light on and I plan on replacing all 4. Did you get your sensors at Amazon?
@JonnyAbs-011 ай бұрын
@Trx21. Do you have a Scion tc as well? You can get the autel scanner bundled with autel sensors for the car. I used one autel sensor and one oem sensor. The oem might be easier to program but cost a little more

@@JonnyAbs-0 yes and I was playing on going to a tire shop to have them reprogram
