Nice. Mine blows this gasket regular. So regular I keep spares on hand. It normally blows the rubber insulator over the lip of the resonator. So I now throw a cable tie around it to stop it doing that.

Great video thanks. I was getting a turbo leak at that same spot causing limp mode with no start countdown. I couldn't go over 3000 RPM. Mechanic told me the leak caused the turbo to shut off. It's like a limp mode with no start count down. I took the resonator off like you did seal fine but I couldn't get it to go all the way together just like you. My mechanic put on the new resonator and seal got it together a little more than I could. It's been fine now for almost a 100000 miles. Recently started going into limp mode and looks like it's leaking again a little bit. I sprayed carb cleaner all over it to clean it up so I could see if it's sleeping and where. It has stopped now crazy thing as I think the carb cleaner might have swelled the gasket and stop the situation temporarily. I haven't taken it apart yet if I do I will update my Post here I hope this helps anyone with this problem. I still think that's a bad design if that gasket on the resonator went all the way in forming the full male/female fitting this wouldn't happen.

@@Eagle-Xpress thanks for the reply I've seen your videos for a long time. I actually just replaced all my seals and I still have a lack of boost- ie Im not sure if I'm in limp mode either. My resonator looked just like yours
