In this video I show how to replace an iPhone XS Max screen with one I bought from Amazon. It took me about an hour to replace the screen.
The screen replacement sold by Ace Tech is decent. It has good color saturation that leads me to believe it is a true OLED screen. It's very close to an OEM or original iPhone XS Max screen. However, there is one big caveat: the screen has a larger bottom bezel. This is due to the OLED screen not being flexible, as opposed to the original. I have linked to more information below.
Please be aware that once you replace the screen, you lose True Tone, and so the screen colors will look different. My girlfriend was able to remedy this issue by making the color temperature cooler, or bluer using the Night Shift mode. You may also try using color filters. Also, more information linked below.
