I just saw someone on KZbin use an empty tube of grease to catch the grease coming out of the opening. Its similar to your shop towel method but maybe a little easier. I'm going to try it next time I throw a track. I enjoy your channel and am learning a ton about my new SVL 75-2. Now if I can just get some work with it!

Did the dealer not warranty the part? I got a 65 with 45 hrs and will be keeping a close eye on my rollers.

I will let you in on a little hack that I made from my SVL 95. I didn't like the idea of letting all the grease out and making a mess like you said. I have a metal lathe so I turned a shaft down , cut the threads on one end to match my grease fitting and drilled a hole all the way threw it. So I can pull my grease plug out screw the one I made in and attach a short length of hose to it before pushing the front arm in now the grease comes out the tube I made and wala no mess. Just a thought. I know you have a friend with a machine shop. I'm also curious is to why you took the stickers off your machine that tells the size of the machine. I'm also curious is to why it wasn't covered under warranty. Your machine isn't over 2 years old is it.

@@travd6653 it's a brand new machine. He hasn't painted it. He also told in a later video that he had used a pressure washer and it peeled off.
