Last summer I painted my husband's toenails while he was asleep (I waited until he was snoring so I knew he was in that deep sleep). He ended up breaking his ankle the next day and had to go to the hospital where he had to remove his shoe and sock for the doctor to examine it...I laughed so hard that the doctor jokingly told my husband next time he'll have to make me wait in the waiting room. From the exam from we headed to the X-ray department where I assured him he'd get to leave his sock on bc they wouldn't need it off for the X-ray...first thing the tech told him was to go ahead and take off his shoe and sock and he asked her if he HAD to take his sock off and when she responded with yep my husband shot me thai exact look 😒😒😒. When she seen his bright green toenails she laughed harder than me. We still laugh about it especially when we're with my mom, she thinks it's the funniest thing ever. I've only tried it one other time and it backfired bc he ended up moving in his sleep and getting polish on our comforter. The tech told us she was actually going to try it on her fiance. 😂😂
